BLINK-182 “SELF-TITLED” 2XLP – DELAYED AT PLANT

Unfortunately MTS Records had to delay the release of Blink-182's Self Titled 2xLP. Here are the details;

We’ve run into some pressing plant/approval issues with the release of Blink-182’s “Self-Titled” 2xLP vinyl release.

We had to switch pressing plants last minute so that we could do the vinyl colors we originally had planned on, which included getting new test pressings to approve. Those have finally been approved. We’ve been waiting on the band’s approval of the artwork layout, which we are still waiting on, but hoping to have within the next couple days. Besides that, everything is ready for production.

I’m doing my best to push the necessary approvals and production along as quickly as possible. We’ve been plagued with delays with the past couple big releases, but it’s something we’re working on to fix the problem. I am working to have these records ready to ship out by early August, or sooner, if possible. As soon as I have a shipment date from the pressing plant, I will post more information here.

Big Announcement June 21st!

According to Mark's blog, big news will be announced on Monday, June 21st! Rumors circulating involve news regarding the possible release of blink-182's highly anticipated single, "Up All Night", or new dates added to thier upcoming tour.

Tune in at 5 PM Pacific time to hear the announcement via KROQ's 106.7FM radio station. The broadcast is also available through KROQ's website.

EDIT: Please don't get your hopes up. This announcement is likely to be information regarding Blink-182 playing the Epicentre Festival, In SOuthern Californai in September 2010

Box Car Racer LP

Universal are due to press the Box Car Racer LP for Hot Topic!

It is limited to 2000 copies and comes in a gatefold package similar to the Blink-182 LP's that Hot Topic have previously released. The vinyl is clear dark red with black smoke which will complement the artwork to perfection.

The vinyl is not currently in stores but should be very very soon. The majority of HT stores that carry vinyl should be stocking the Box Car Racer LP. There will also be a select number available online at www.hottopic.com
